Slagsting — the cursed Beast Shapeshifter

Once noble hunting hounds serving the Watchers on Oldavor's border, these unfortunate beasts met their doom in the maw of a rabid shapeshifter. Now transformed into grotesque aberrations, they have become fuel for the creature's ghastly expansion, their flesh twisted into nightmarish forms that threaten to overrun the border post.

Without the cunning hivemind of their shapeshifter master to guide them, these corrupted beasts are driven by little more than ravenous hunger. Yet any psionically gifted individual with sufficient fortitude could enthrall such creatures, commanding them to hunt with deadly intellect rather than mindless fury.
