Nils Olav, The Heartland Hero

Forged by tragedy and tempered by war, Nils Olav stands as a beacon of hope for the fallen city of Steadfort. Orphaned when the brutal Alimrothi raiders slaughtered his parents, he was raised in the crumbling walls of a forgotten orphanage, where he swore a blood oath of vengeance against those who destroyed his world.

As leader of the Steadfort resistance, Nils commanded the desperate defense against overwhelming odds, his axe and shield becoming legends among the survivors. Though the city eventually fell to superior might and dark technology, this battle-scarred warrior escaped into the western mountains, seeking the aid of ancient gods rumored to walk among mortals.

Now bearing the weight of his people's hopes, Nils pursues divine intervention to reclaim his homeland and drive back the darkness that consumed the eastern front.
