Za Kar - Master of Runes at the Arcane University

Za Kar is among the more imposing figures to walk the halls of the University of Canos, a towering leonine scholar whose maned head and fanged jaw turn nervous first-years to stone long before any spell does. He came to Canos from far-off lands as a master of the old written magics, the runes and inscriptions that predate the tidy spellbooks the younger students prefer, and he guards that lore jealously. He is caught here mid-working, a great rune-carved stone cylinder hovering at one raised clawed hand while a long inscribed scroll unfurls and coils around him on unseen currents, every glyph flaring as he reads it aloud in a voice like distant thunder. Where other faculty coax magic from theory and gesture, Za Kar carves it, believing that a spell worth casting is a spell worth setting permanently in stone. Patient, proud, and slow to anger, he is nonetheless a professor no student wishes to see truly roused, for a lion who has mastered the runes is a dangerous thing indeed.

This 3D printed resin miniature captures Za Kar mid-incantation, a maned leonine beastfolk wizard with one clawed hand raised beneath a floating rune-carved stone cylinder as a long inscribed scroll coils around him. The leonine maned head, fanged face, muscular frame, frogged and buttoned coat, wide ornate belt, sweeping cape, bracers, digitigrade clawed feet, hovering runic stone, unfurled glyph-scroll, and sculpted paved base give painters a magnificent showpiece to bring out in tawny gold fur, deep regal-blue and grey cloth, tarnished gold fittings, and pale glowing runes. Posed on a round paved base, this premium resin figure is ready for painting or display and makes a commanding centerpiece for any D&D or Pathfinder campaign.

Every miniature is printed in 16K ABS-like resin on top-grade SLA printers. We run a large industrial print farm built for high throughput without sacrificing detail - the same razor-sharp surface quality on order #1 and order #1,000.

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. If the miniatures do not live up to expectations, we will refund the full purchase price - no questions asked.

Scale guide

What does "32mm scale" actually mean?

✕ Myth

"32mm scale = the figure is 32mm tall."

✓ Truth

Scale describes a real human's eye level scaled down - not the figure's actual height.

  • 32mm scale ≈ figure is 35-55mm tall (top of head, varies with pose & headgear).
  • Mounted heroes & large creatures can be much taller at the same scale.
  • 4 scales: 28mm . 32mm . 38mm . 75mm - pick by table, collection or display.

FAQ

Quick answers

All our miniatures are 3D printed to order using high-resolution resin printers. Each piece is printed, cleaned, cured, inspected, and carefully packed by hand in our Cracow, Poland workshop. Because every model is produced individually, slight variations in support marks or surface texture may occur - this is normal for resin printing and does not affect painting or detail quality.

We usually need 3-7 business days to produce, clean, and pack your order. Larger or custom orders may take a few days longer, depending on print queue and weather conditions (resin curing is humidity-sensitive). Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking so you can follow your parcel.

Europe: 1-5 business days
USA & Canada: 4-7 business days
Rest of the world: 1-2 weeks
We ship worldwide from Poland (EU).

Our standard scales are:
28 mm - for classic tabletop games
32 mm - most common for D&D & Pathfinder
38 mm - for collectors and painters
75 mm - display models

By default, we send figures unassembled, with separate bases. This makes painting and priming much easier and prevents breakage during shipping. You can also choose the "assembly" option, where we glue the model and base together before shipping.

You can cancel an order before it enters production (usually within 24 hours of purchase). If you are not satisfied with a product, you can return it within 30 days. Please contact us first so we can guide you through the process.
