Every eligible IronShield miniature you order can become a separate competition entry — including free Mystery Minis. Paint it after delivery, submit a photo, and let verified IronShield customers pick the champions in three anonymous voting rounds.

🏆First Prize: any one complete D&D Campaign Set from our store — no price cap. You choose the adventure.

Verified-customer voting · Anonymous gallery · No random draw

Three steps

How it works

No app, no account, no follows required. Order, paint, email — the Army does the rest.

1

Order by October 10

Place a paid order between Sep 10 and Oct 10. Every eligible physical miniature inside — also free Mystery Minis — earns the right to its own entry.

2

Paint it yourself

After delivery, personally paint your miniature. Conversions, custom bases and scenic effects are welcome — the IronShield mini just has to stay recognizable.

3

Submit by email

Send 1–3 photos of each painted mini to competition@ironshieldarmy.com — one email per miniature. Full checklist in the Rules below.

The math is simple

Every eligible mini = one entry

There is no cap per person. The more you paint, the more shots you have at the podium.

⚔️One purchased miniature=1 entry
📦Campaign Set with 20 physical miniatures=20 entries
🎁Two free Mystery Minis in your order=+2 entries

Loot Chests, paints, tools, gift cards, Shipping Protection and digital products don’t create entries — miniatures do. Each physical mini can be entered once, painted by you.

Questions

FAQ

Do I have to buy something to enter?
Entries come from miniatures in qualifying orders placed Sep 10 – Oct 10, 2026. A purchase qualifies your minis — it does not automatically enter them. You enter by painting and emailing your photos.
Can beginners actually win?
Yes. There is no jury preselection — verified customers vote on technique, color, character and presentation. Great storytelling beats sterile perfection surprisingly often.
Do free Mystery Minis count?
Yes — every free Mystery Mini physically included with a qualifying order can become its own separate entry.
Do I need Instagram, or to leave a review?
No. Follows, likes, shares, tags and reviews are never required and never affect entries, votes or prizes.
How many entries can I submit?
As many as you have separately painted eligible miniatures. Thirty painted minis = thirty possible entries. Each physical mini can be used once.
When exactly do submissions close?
14 full days after the final qualifying order is delivered. There is no fixed cut-off date yet — the exact deadline will be published here and emailed to registered entrants.

1. Organizer

The “IronShield Painted Legends Championship 2026” (the “Competition”) is organized by:

Iron Shield Army — Andrzej Machno

os. Kazimierzowskie 20/26

31-842 Kraków, Poland

Tax Identification Number (NIP): 6783171820

Business Registration Number (REGON): 369124644

Competition email: competition@ironshieldarmy.com

Website: ironshieldarmy.com

The Competition is administered by the Organizer and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, Trustpilot, Wizards of the Coast, or any other third-party platform referenced in Competition communications. “D&D” and “Dungeons & Dragons” are used descriptively for compatible tabletop role-playing products; the Competition does not imply sponsorship by the relevant trademark owner.

2. Nature and purpose of the Competition

The Competition rewards miniature-painting skill and community evaluation. It is not a lottery, sweepstakes, game of chance, or random prize draw. Winners are determined through three rounds of voting by verified IronShield customers under these Rules. No winner or tie is selected randomly.

The Competition’s purposes are to celebrate miniature painting, showcase work created by verified IronShield customers, and allow the IronShield customer community to select the winning miniatures.

3. Territory and participation

The Competition is open worldwide to residents of every country or territory to which the IronShield Army store accepts orders and can lawfully deliver the relevant products and prizes at the time of participation.

Where applicable law requires a parent or legal representative to act for a participant or authorize participation, that representative must submit or confirm the entry, accept these Rules on the participant’s behalf, and handle correspondence and prize delivery. The Organizer may request reasonable confirmation of that authority. Employees, contractors directly administering the Competition, the Organizer’s owners, and members of their immediate households may not enter or vote.

The Competition is void where prohibited by law. The Organizer may exclude a territory where legal, sanctions, shipping, customs, tax, licensing, or technical restrictions make participation or prize delivery unlawful or unreasonably impracticable. Any territory exclusion must be applied neutrally and not used to alter a voting result.

4. Qualifying purchase period

The qualifying purchase period begins on 10 September 2026 at 00:00 CEST and ends on 10 October 2026 at 23:59 CEST (the “Purchase Period”).

To qualify, an order must:

  1. be placed through ironshieldarmy.com during the Purchase Period;
  2. contain at least one Eligible Miniature;
  3. be successfully paid;
  4. not be cancelled, fraudulently obtained, charged back, or fully refunded; and
  5. be associated with an email address that the entrant can access for verification.

The Shopify order creation timestamp in the Organizer’s store timezone determines whether an order falls within the Purchase Period. Shipment or delivery may occur after 10 October 2026.

A purchase does not automatically submit an entry. It creates the right to submit the Eligible Miniatures contained in or supplied with that order, subject to these Rules.

5. Eligible Miniatures

An “Eligible Miniature” is:

  1. a physical miniature purchased as a paid product in a qualifying order;
  2. each separate physical miniature contained within a paid bundle or Campaign Set in a qualifying order; or
  3. each free Mystery Mini physically supplied with a qualifying order under the store promotion active at the time of purchase.

Each Eligible Miniature may become one separate Competition entry. For example, one Eligible Miniature permits one entry; a bundle containing twenty separate Eligible Miniatures may permit twenty entries; and a free Mystery Mini supplied with that order may permit one additional entry.

The following do not create entries: gift cards, Shipping Protection, maps, cards, digital files, tools, paint or hobby supplies, packaging, Loot Chests, replacement parts, replacement shipments, or other non-miniature accessories. A multi-part sculpt sold as one miniature or one SKU, including a rider and mount designed as one model, counts as one Eligible Miniature. Merely ordering multiple copies does not create an entry unless each physical copy is separately painted, photographed, and submitted.

If a qualifying order is partially refunded or returned, only Eligible Miniatures retained and paid for by the entrant remain eligible. A free Mystery Mini may be verified using the qualifying order value, fulfillment information, and the required proof photograph when it does not appear as a separate Shopify line item.

6. Who may submit an entry

An entry may be submitted by:

  1. the customer who placed the qualifying order; or
  2. a recipient of the qualifying order who has the purchaser’s permission and can complete order verification, with a legal representative where required under Section 3.

Only one person may claim authorship of a submitted painting. The entrant must personally paint the Eligible Miniature. Commissioned painting, a miniature painted by another person, or a miniature purchased in a pre-painted state is not eligible. Assembly or priming performed by IronShield does not disqualify an otherwise eligible entry.

Following any social-media account, publishing a social-media post, or writing a review on Trustpilot or any other review platform is not required to enter, progress, vote, or win. These activities are not considered proof of eligibility and will not affect scoring.

7. Submission deadline

Because qualifying orders are delivered internationally, the submission deadline is linked to delivery of the final qualifying order.

“Final Qualifying Delivery” means delivery to the customer of the last qualifying order placed between 10 September and 10 October 2026, confirmed by carrier tracking or, where tracking does not reliably record delivery, by the customer and the Organizer’s delivery records. If an order is split into several parcels, delivery of its final parcel containing an Eligible Miniature is used. A shipment still in transit or awaiting resolution of a delivery problem is not treated as delivered. Cancelled and fully refunded orders are not qualifying orders.

The submission period closes at 23:59, Poland local time (Europe/Warsaw), on the fourteenth calendar day after the Final Qualifying Delivery. The delivery date itself is not counted. This is one shared deadline for all entrants, not a separate two-week period for each customer. There is no fixed earlier cut-off date.

For example, if the final qualifying order reaches its customer on 28 October, all entrants may submit until 11 November at 23:59, Poland local time. The Organizer will publish the actual closing date on the Competition page and notify entrants by email within 24 hours of confirming the Final Qualifying Delivery. If a delivery record is corrected and the actual Final Qualifying Delivery is later, the deadline will be extended accordingly and entrants notified. Voting will not start before the resulting submission deadline.

Late submissions are not accepted after Round 1 has opened.

8. How to enter

Submit entries by email to competition@ironshieldarmy.com. No separate Competition account or app is required. Send one miniature per email; several photographs of that same miniature may be attached. To enter additional miniatures, send a separate email for each one.

For every submitted miniature, the entrant must:

  1. use the subject Painted Legends — Order #[your order number] — [miniature name];
  2. send from the order email address wherever possible and state the qualifying order number; if using another address or entering as a gift recipient, the Organizer will obtain confirmation through the original order email before acceptance;
  3. identify the miniature/product, including the bundle or Campaign Set it came from, or identify it as a Mystery Mini;
  4. provide a display name or pseudonym for use after voting; do not include private details in the photographs;
  5. attach between one and three clean gallery photographs showing that miniature; use JPG or PNG, keep each image at or below 5 MB, and keep the total attachments at or below 15 MB per email;
  6. include this declaration: “I accept the Painted Legends Competition Rules, including the image license in Section 18, and acknowledge the privacy information in Section 20. I personally painted this miniature and own or have permission to use the submitted photographs.” A legal representative submitting for a participant must identify that role and confirm the declaration on the participant’s behalf;
  7. optionally include a short description of up to 300 characters and an Instagram username for attribution after voting; and
  8. send the entry before the submission deadline.

The Organizer records receipt, checks the order and miniature, and replies with an entry identifier and either acceptance, a correction request, or a reason for rejection. Receipt alone is not acceptance. If no acknowledgement arrives within three working days, reply to the original email or contact the store. An entry is timely when received by the Competition mailbox before the deadline; retain your sent message. A demonstrable mailbox failure attributable to the Organizer will be handled under Section 21.

Where authenticity or eligibility needs confirmation, the Organizer may reply with a private verification code and request a photograph of the physical painted miniature beside that code. This proof photograph is not published. For an entry received on time, the entrant will have at least three calendar days from a verification or correction request to respond, including where that response period ends after the submission deadline. This permits verification or technical correction of an existing entry, not replacement with a new work. Round 1 starts only after those response periods and moderation have finished.

The order number, verification code, email address, proof image, legal name, and Instagram username will not be displayed during voting.

An entrant may submit as many separate works as they have separately painted Eligible Miniatures. There is no per-person cap in any voting round.

9. Photograph and painting requirements

Every Competition entry must present one Eligible Miniature as the subject. A contextual photograph may include scenery or other models, but the submitted miniature must be clearly identifiable and evaluated separately. A multi-miniature diorama cannot be used to convert several miniatures into one collective entry; each Eligible Miniature must be separately submitted and verified.

Permitted photographic adjustments are limited to cropping, exposure, white balance, sharpening that does not invent detail, resizing, and removal or replacement of a distracting background. The image must accurately represent the physical painted miniature.

The following are prohibited:

  • generative-AI creation or alteration of the miniature’s paintwork, sculpt, texture, lighting effects, or details;
  • compositing that depicts paintwork or features not present on the physical miniature;
  • stolen photographs or another person’s painting;
  • obscene, hateful, discriminatory, unlawful, or unsafe content;
  • third-party trademarks, copyrighted artwork, or identifiable people where the entrant lacks the necessary rights or permission; and
  • watermarks, social handles, names, voting instructions, or other elements that reveal or promote the entrant during anonymous voting.

Conversions, custom bases, scenic effects, and additional hand-sculpted details are permitted if the original IronShield miniature remains identifiable. Voting concerns the overall submitted work, including such physical modifications.

10. Review and moderation

The Organizer will review submissions only for eligibility, technical quality, legal compliance, authenticity, duplicate use, and compliance with these Rules. Moderation is not an artistic preselection and does not replace community voting.

An entrant may be asked to provide the original image file, an additional angle, work-in-progress evidence, order verification, or another photograph with a new verification code. Failure to respond within the stated reasonable period may result in rejection where eligibility cannot otherwise be confirmed.

The Organizer may correct an obvious product name, crop an image consistently for gallery display, or request a replacement image. It will not materially alter the paintwork.

The entrant will receive an acceptance, correction request, or rejection notice. A rejection notice will state the principal reason and explain the available complaint process.

11. Anonymous gallery

During all voting rounds, a public entry card will display only:

  • a randomized Competition entry identifier;
  • the IronShield miniature/product name;
  • the approved gallery images; and
  • the optional short description only if it contains no identifying information.

The entrant’s display name, legal name, order number, email address, country, social profile, verification image, and verification code remain hidden until the final vote has closed and been validated. Entry identifiers may be changed between rounds. Live vote totals are not displayed.

After the final result is validated, the Organizer may reveal the approved display names of winners and entrants, subject to the license and privacy notice.

12. Eligible voters

A person may vote if, before the relevant voting round opens, they have at least one successfully paid IronShield order that has not been cancelled, fully refunded, fraudulently obtained, or charged back. The order does not need to fall within the Purchase Period.

Each verified customer receives one ballot per round. Multiple orders do not create additional ballots. Duplicate customer profiles, aliases, household patterns, disposable accounts, or other records may be consolidated when the Organizer has objective grounds to conclude they belong to the same voter or are being used to circumvent these Rules.

Entrants may vote but may not vote for their own entries. A voter will verify access through the order email, customer account, or a one-time voting link. The Organizer will not publish the voter’s identity or individual choices.

Marketing invitations are sent only where the Organizer has a lawful basis to send them. A customer otherwise eligible to vote may independently access the Competition page and verify eligibility even if they do not receive marketing messages.

13. Three voting rounds

The Organizer will publish the exact opening and closing time for every round on the Competition page. Each round will ordinarily remain open for 72 hours, followed by up to 48 hours of validation.

Round 1 — The Open Gallery

All accepted entries participate. Each voter may select up to five different entries. The twenty-four entries receiving the greatest number of valid votes advance to Round 2. If there are twenty-four or fewer accepted entries, all advance.

Round 2 — The Finalists

Up to twenty-four entries participate. Each voter may select up to three different entries. The three entries receiving the greatest number of valid votes advance to Round 3.

Round 3 — The Grand Final

Three entries participate. Each voter may select one entry. The entry receiving the greatest number of valid votes wins First Place; the entry with the second-highest total receives Second Place; and the remaining entry receives Third Place.

Entries advance independently of authorship. If several works by one entrant receive sufficient valid votes, every such work may advance. The same entrant may occupy more than one podium position and may receive the prize attached to each position.

The Organizer does not select the artistically preferred work. Its role is limited to applying these Rules, verifying eligibility, and validating ballots.

14. Voting standard and integrity

Voters are asked to consider:

  1. painting technique and execution;
  2. color, contrast, and readability;
  3. character, creativity, and storytelling; and
  4. overall presentation of the physical miniature.

Gallery order will be randomized where technically possible. No public direct-entry sharing button or live leaderboard will be provided during voting.

It is prohibited to:

  • buy, sell, exchange, automate, or condition votes;
  • operate duplicate or false customer profiles;
  • disclose or distribute a hidden entry identifier for the purpose of directing votes;
  • offer discounts, money, gifts, reciprocal votes, or any benefit for a vote;
  • use bots, scripts, click farms, coordinated account creation, or impersonation; or
  • interfere with the Competition system or another entry.

An entrant may organically display their painted miniature outside the Competition, but may not publish the Competition identifier or instruct others how to locate and vote for that specific anonymous entry. Because visual recognition cannot be eliminated completely, anonymity and verification reduce—but cannot promise to eliminate—support from acquaintances.

The Organizer may invalidate affected ballots or disqualify an entry only on documented, reasonably supported grounds. A material integrity decision will be logged and may be challenged through the complaint process.

15. Ties

A tie affecting advancement or prize position will be resolved by a 24-hour verified-customer runoff between only the tied entries. No random method will be used.

If the runoff remains exactly tied, the entry with the greater total number of valid votes across all earlier applicable rounds prevails. If that figure is also equal, further 24-hour runoffs will be held until the tie is resolved. The Organizer will not substitute a random draw or subjective jury decision.

16. Prizes

First Prize

The First Place winner may select one complete D&D Campaign Set of their choice from the complete Campaign Sets publicly available for purchase on ironshieldarmy.com when the selection is made, with no maximum price cap. The prize is one set only, has no cash alternative, and any price difference is not payable in cash or store credit. If a chosen product becomes unavailable before fulfillment, the winner may choose another available complete Campaign Set.

The Organizer pays standard tracked delivery. Customs, import, and tax treatment will follow the store’s published delivery terms and applicable law. The actual retail value will depend on the product selected and will be recorded when the prize is issued.

Second Prize

The Second Place winner may choose one or more products available from the IronShield Army store with a combined current gross retail value of up to €70. Delivery charges do not reduce the €70 product allowance and are handled separately by the Organizer using standard tracked delivery. No unused balance is paid in cash, converted into store credit, or carried forward.

Third Prize

The Third Place winner may choose one or more products available from the IronShield Army store with a combined current gross retail value of up to €45. Delivery charges do not reduce the €45 product allowance and are handled separately by the Organizer using standard tracked delivery. No unused balance is paid in cash, converted into store credit, or carried forward.

Surprise Bonus Gifts

The Organizer may announce additional surprise gifts, such as painting brushes, hobby accessories, or miniatures. Such gifts are additional to, and do not replace or reduce, the First, Second, or Third Prizes. A bonus gift becomes guaranteed only when the Organizer publishes its exact description, eligible recipient or placement, and any material fulfillment conditions. Unannounced possible gifts are not part of the promised prize pool.

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash. A winner must respond within seven calendar days of the prize notice and provide the information reasonably required for lawful delivery and tax compliance. If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, refuses the prize, or fails to respond after one reminder, the prize is offered to the next-ranked eligible entry from the final round.

Where tax law requires the Organizer to withhold, report, or collect an amount or information before delivery, the winner must cooperate with that lawful process. The Organizer will not advertise any prize as tax-free unless this has been confirmed for the relevant recipient.

17. Results

Provisional results will be published after final-round validation. The winners will be contacted using the verified order email address. Final results will be published on the Competition page after eligibility is reconfirmed.

The public announcement may include the entry images, entry identifier, approved display name, miniature name, placement, and—if separately approved—the entrant’s Instagram handle and country. The Organizer will not publish the winner’s private order information, residential address, or legal identification documents.

18. Rights in submitted content

The entrant retains ownership of their original photograph and painting-related creative expression. By submitting an entry, the entrant grants the Organizer a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license for five years from submission to reproduce, host, display, crop, resize, format, caption, translate the non-identifying description, and communicate the entry images for:

  • administering and promoting the Competition;
  • the Competition gallery and archive;
  • IronShield website sections clearly labeled as customer-painted or Competition content;
  • IronShield email and organic social media; and
  • IronShield paid advertising, only if the entrant separately opts in as described below.

The Organizer may add a frame, logo, entry number, product link, attribution, or disclosure but may not materially change the appearance of the paintwork or falsely attribute words or opinions to the entrant. The Organizer will not sell the images as standalone assets. Technical service providers may process them only for the Organizer’s authorized purposes.

Where an image is reused after voting, it will be labeled substantially as: “Painted Legends Competition entry by [display name] — verified IronShield customer.” It will not automatically be presented as an independent product review, assigned a star rating, or included in an average review score.

The entrant warrants that they personally painted the miniature and either created the submitted photographs or have the photographer’s permission to grant this license. Photographs must not contain identifiable people or third-party elements for which the necessary permission is absent. The entrant may request that the Organizer stop new discretionary marketing uses where reasonably practicable, without affecting uses already lawfully published, required Competition records, or the validity of the Competition result.

Permission for paid advertising is optional and has no effect on entry, votes, or prizes. It may be granted separately by writing: “I also permit IronShield Army to use my entry photographs in paid advertising under Section 18.” Without that permission, the Organizer will not use the entry in paid ads. This permission may be withdrawn for future uses by email; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful use. A legal representative must provide any authorization required by applicable law.

19. Reviews and social media

The Competition does not require or reward a Trustpilot review, product star rating, positive statement, Instagram follow, like, comment, share, tag, or public post. These actions have no effect on eligibility, moderation, voting, advancement, or prizes.

IronShield may independently invite customers to provide honest reviews through a neutral, platform-compliant process that is separate from this Competition and sent consistently regardless of expected sentiment. Competition participation or prize opportunity will never be offered in exchange for such a review.

Entrants are encouraged—but not required—to follow @ironshieldarmy for public announcements. All material deadlines and operational notices will also be available on the Competition page or sent to registered entrants, so an Instagram account is not necessary.

20. Personal data

The Organizer is the controller of personal data processed for the Competition. Contact: competition@ironshieldarmy.com and the postal address in Section 1.

Data may include the entrant’s order email, order number, verification status, name, display name, optional Instagram handle, country, IP/security logs, images, declarations, correspondence, voting records, prize delivery details, and data necessary for tax compliance.

Under the GDPR, processing necessary to administer participation, verify eligibility, contact entrants, and deliver prizes relies on Article 6(1)(b); compliance with applicable accounting, tax and other legal obligations relies on Article 6(1)(c); proportionate fraud prevention, system security and the establishment or defence of claims rely on Article 6(1)(f), reflecting the Organizer’s legitimate interests in a fair and secure Competition. Optional personal-data processing based on consent relies on Article 6(1)(a). Optional marketing consent is separate, is not required to participate, and may be withdrawn without affecting an entry.

Data may be processed by Shopify, hosting and database providers, image storage/CDN providers, transactional email providers, security/anti-bot providers, professional advisers, carriers, and authorities where legally required. International transfers will use the protections required by applicable law.

Operational correspondence, private proof photos and routine verification records will be deleted or anonymized within twelve months after the final results, unless needed for an unresolved complaint, investigation or legal obligation. Limited evidence of participation, permissions, results and claims may be retained until the applicable legal limitation period expires. Winner accounting and tax records are kept for the statutory period. Public entry images may be retained for the license term in Section 18. Access to private order information and proof images is restricted to those who need it to administer the Competition.

Participants may exercise applicable rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent by contacting the Organizer. They may complain to the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) or their competent supervisory authority. Some rights may be limited where processing is required to administer the Competition, establish a result, comply with law, or defend claims. Required entry and verification data is necessary to participate; optional information may be omitted. Order and delivery information is obtained from the store’s records and carriers. The Organizer does not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated processing. This Section is the Competition privacy information and must remain available alongside the entry instructions and voting page.

21. Disqualification and system failure

The Organizer may reject or disqualify an entry or ballot for a material breach of these Rules, including ineligibility, false authorship, stolen or AI-altered work, duplicate use of one physical miniature, manipulation, unlawful content, or failure to provide reasonably requested verification.

The Organizer will not disqualify an entry merely because it is critical of IronShield or because the participant has previously submitted a negative review or complaint.

If a technical failure materially affects access or voting, the Organizer may pause the affected period, restore a verified backup, and extend the relevant deadline equally for all affected persons. It may not change the Competition’s skill-based character, substitute a random winner, reduce an already earned prize, or retroactively impose a material participation requirement.

22. Complaints

A Competition complaint may be submitted to competition@ironshieldarmy.com with the subject “Painted Legends Complaint” or by post to the Organizer’s address. It should identify the complainant, the relevant entry or voting round, the issue, and the requested remedy without including unnecessary identity documents.

Complaints concerning entry rejection must be submitted within seven calendar days of the rejection notice. Complaints concerning voting or provisional results must be submitted within seven calendar days of the relevant publication. Other complaints must be submitted no later than fourteen calendar days after final results are published.

The Organizer will respond within fourteen calendar days using the complainant’s contact method. This procedure does not limit mandatory consumer rights, judicial remedies, or the right to complain to a competent regulator.

23. Liability

Nothing in these Rules excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, personal injury caused by fault, or mandatory consumer rights.

The Organizer is not responsible for delay caused by incorrect participant information, refusal or failure to collect a shipment, third-party service outages beyond reasonable control, or unlawful interference, but will take reasonable measures to restore fair participation. Internet access, painting materials, and ordinary participation costs are borne by the participant. A purchase is made for the purchased products and does not guarantee an accepted entry, advancement, or prize.

24. Governing law and final provisions

These Rules are governed by Polish law, without depriving a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law of their habitual residence.

If one provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective to the fullest lawful extent. The Organizer may make a non-material correction or a change required by law, security, or an event beyond reasonable control, provided the change is published, applied fairly, and does not convert the Competition into a game of chance or prejudice rights already earned.

The current version of the Rules and Competition schedule will be available on the Competition page. Participation means acceptance of these Rules.

This competition is administered by Iron Shield Army and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Meta. Rules apply.
