Hey, adventurers! Welcome to the IronShield blog, where we dive into the world of Dungeons & Dragons, miniatures, and all things 3D printing. Today, we want to share the story of how our passion for tabletop RPGs turned into the business you see before you today.
Before IronShield was born, we were just two friends obsessed with D&D. Like many of you, we spent countless nights battling monsters, crafting epic tales, and rolling those critical hits (or misses… we’ve all been there). As every D&D fan knows, having the perfect miniatures on the table adds a whole new layer to the game. But at one point, we looked at each other and said, “Why not print our own?”
And that’s how it all started. First, we printed miniatures for ourselves, then for our friends, and pretty soon, we were printing for their friends too. Word spread, and before we knew it, we were subscribing to some of the best 3D artists in the D&D community, getting access to incredible character models. Eventually, we realized we could share these creations with a wider audience—and that’s when IronShield took form.
Now here we are, with an online store and over 1,000 models to choose from. Pretty crazy, right?
